I'm excited to announce that the upcoming series Life on Discovery Channel will feature some of my original music. When I saw the original Planet Earth series, I couldn't help but think about how great it would be to compose an orchestral score for such beautiful natural images-- needless to say I'm thrilled to have contributed to the sequel. You can see the series starting March 21st.
In addition to scoring several scenes I also had the opportunity to orchestrate music for some of the series' other talented composers. Working with them has been great fun! In other news, Burning in the Sun has started to hit the festivals and has been wonderfully received in Santa Barbara and around the country. The film will be screening at Lincoln Center this Spring-- check back soon for exact dates. Highlights from the score are featured on Picturebooks, available on iTunes.
More news is brewing, and I will update soon with hyperlinks-- stay tuned! |

Congratulations to directors Morgan Robinson and Cambria Matlow on the premiere of Burning in the Sun last week! The premiere was co-sponsored by IFP, Rooftop Films and Solar One. There will be more screenings to come-- please join the Burning in the Sun Facebook Group.
Congratulations to director Don Argott on the premiere of his documentary The Art of the Steal at the Toronto International Film Festival. My instrumental blues song "Ladder 25" is on the soundtrack. The film will also be screening as part of the New York Film Festival and will soon be released theatrically as well.
PICTUREBOOKS, which includes much of the Burning in the Sun score is available on iTunes!
