ASCAP sponsored me to attend the IFP's annual conference, Independent Film Week, which was held this month in New York. It was a real privilege to be included among an elite group of composers that were selected to attend as Official ASCAP Composers! I really enjoyed meeting so many filmmakers and film professionals from around the world that are dedicating themselves to creating inspired independent narratives and documentaries.

In other news, Divergence will soon be released on DVD-- I will post more details as they become available.

I recently scored a short documentary, A Partisan Returns for the Jewish Partisan Educational Foundation that follows the family of Tuvia Bielsky on a return visit to Eastern Europe. The film will be featured online in connection with the upcoming Paramount Vantage release "Defiance" starring Daniel Craig as Bielsky. More details will be available for that soon too-- stay tuned!
