Ronen’s score for James Ponsoldt’s short Rush Tickets is a great success. Using live instruments greatly enhanced the quality of the score. The film is in the hands of the judges for the Coca Cola Refreshing Filmmakers Competition. Best of luck to James and everyone involved with the film!
More good news! The Sci-Fi thriller Meridian, which features Ronen’s original orchestral music has been accepted to this Spring’s Tambay Film Festival in Tampa Bay, FL. Congratulations to director Philipp Wolter and everyone who worked on the film!
The sounds section of ronenlanda.com has been updated with a host of new mp3’s to stream or download. Click Here to hear samples of Ronen’s music, including music from the films The Autobiography of Red, Meridian and On and Off Stage: The Bruce Hlibok Story. You’ll also find many new pop and trip hop mp3’s– be sure to listen to the bluegrass track Dogged and Ronen’s unique arrangement of the traditional Jewish song Tsur MiSheloh.
Ronen is still hard at work on the original score for the short film Coming Down the Mountain, produced by Cyan Pictures and directed by James Ponsoldt. The music is rich with electric soundbeds, acoustic guitar and mandolin.
Ronen is also working on the music for the (very) short film Rush Tickets, James Ponsoldt’s finalist submission for the Coca Cola Refreshing Filmmakers Competition. The score will feature exceptional musicians playing lively and intense swing music.
Stay tuned for more!
