Ronen has been working ’round the clock creating the music for producer Aaron Raskin‘s feature documentary The Dreams of Sparrows. A taste of the score can be heard on the sounds page.
The film was shot by 5 Iraqi directors who sought to document life in their country post-Saddam and pre-independence. An especially poignant segment from the film that discusses the lives of Iraqi children will likely premiere at festivals as a short entitled The Cradle of Civilization ahead of the full feature.
Raskin’s Harbinger Productions has added some great clips to its web site. Don’t miss the great performance art or the Harbinger archives– this week’s clips include a song composed and performed by Ronen, the Uncle Osama Theme Song, from the short film Broadcast Quality.
